My Late Mother's Day Message
I never had a real mom, but
I've had a mom that's real
In all the things that mom should do,
And all the things moms feel.
I never had a mother, but
I've had a mother's love.
I've had the kisses and the hugs
That therapists speak of.
I guess I should be crazy with
The things that I've been through.
But I've had all a kid could need
Because I have had you.
This poem is dedicated to my Mama V (lola) for all the wonderful things that she have had given me throughout the years. She completed some of the missing part of my life as a child. Thank you.
I also want to dedicate this poem to my Tita G, Tita Beth, Mommy, Tita Tet, Tita Gerly, Ninang Kate and Tita Rose. Happy Mother's Day to all of you and thank you for everything.
